Affluenza! By James Sherman
December 2, 2004 to January 9, 2005

(Florida premiere) With Gene Bunge, Carole Cortland, Heather Gallagher, Marvin Gay, John Manzelli, and Michael McKeever. Directed by Stephen S. Neal.

William Moore lives a lonely life in the company of his $650 million. He falls in love with a woman much too young for him and his idiotic son, his greedy nephew, his estranged wife, and his buttler all think she is after his money (!) Who gets how much and how and who ends up with what and with whom is anybody's guess in this play about greedy families and the American obsession with the almighty dollar. James Sherman is the author of Beau Geste and God of Isaac, to name but two of his most successful plays which have received many productions across the U.S.A.

Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays at 8 p.m., Sundays at 1 p.m.

Additional performances on Wednesday, Dec. 22 at 8 pm and on Sundays December 12, 19 and 26 at 5:30 p.m. and January 2 at 5:30 p.m.

No performance on Friday Dec. 24.

Special performance on New Year's Eve Friday December 31 at 8 p.m., followed by a dessert buffet and a sparkling wine toast with the cast after the show.
